Overall Satisfaction with Password Genie

We use this to save our password infor and secuirty keys along with certificates.
The business problems we face as an admin is there are various passwords for us to remember and a central location where we can save our secuirty keys and certificates securely.
This products addresses all the above challenges we face in the organization.
  • Storing confidential data
  • Storing certificates
  • Flags weak passwords
  • two factor authentication
  • automated password capture and replay mechanism
  • per device licensing is not the one anybody wants for this product
  • form fill feature needs to be enhanced similar to other products like KeePass
  • Doesnt have the capabiliy to handle non-standard logins
  • Requires to have password less login to the application it self
  • Storing confidential data
  • automated password capture and replay
  • two factor authentication
  • web form filling
  • The product it self cannot be deemed very expensive
  • It does what it is buit for, hence I am doubtful that there could be a proper means to calculate the ROI of the product
  • This tool is defenetly a must for admins as when they tend to leave the organization this tool can be really helpful in knowledge transfer sessions.
Free open source version was a bit scary to use as this has confidential information stored.
This application was cost effective compared to the other products.
Capturing of password was great on this product compared to the other products.
ManageEngine password manager is an excellent product, however the product is very expensive compared to Password Genie. Hence the appropriate and wise solution was Passwrd Genie for us.

It is well suited for any business as they would have password / confidential data which needs to be stored. Hence this tool provides all those features which is required.

The product becomes less appropirate to SMB segments as the per device licensing becomes very difficult as there are various applications available as a free ware. Hence the licensing model need to be re-thought.
