Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

We are an accounting firm. Our organization uses Paychex Flex for its payroll processing. We also recommend Paychex Flex to our clients and use Paychex Flex to access our clients' payroll reports, with their permission. These reports are used to prepare tax returns, insurance audits, employment verification reports, and SBA loan applications and forgiveness applications.

The payroll specialists are always available during business hours, and they are courteous, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The sales representatives are available both during business hours and after business hours, and they are also professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. They always know the correct department within Paychex to direct any inquiry, and are able to resolve matters.

The software is very user friendly. The reports are excellent, and they are perfect and customizable to any number of requirements, including workers' comp premium audits, general liability audits, income tax return preparation, verification of employment, health insurance personnel verification, form 5500 preparation, and retirement plan reporting. The support staff is very helpful.
Paychex Flex is well suited to all businesses, from those which have one employee to those which have over a hundred employees. The majority of our clients who utilize Paychex Flex are small businesses, many of whom take advantage of the human resources plans, 401K plans, and workers' compensation insurance plans, offered by Paychex.

Paychex Flex is extremely user friendly and is reasonably priced. It has excellent reports and outstanding customer service.

Evaluating Paychex Flex and Competitors

Yes - Paychex Flex replaced QuickBooks software. The main reason that it was replaced was because of the excellent 401K plan that Paychex offered. This enabled us to offer a great retirement plan to our small staff. The retirement plan has been an integral part of employee retention at our small firm. It has enabled us to compete with larger firms for quality personnel.

The most important feature which influenced our decision in choosing Paychex Flex was the 401K plan that was offered by Paychex.
If we had to do it again, we would again choose Paychex!

We are accountants, so the implementation was easy. For other users, contacting the Paychex support staff might be necessary. The support staff is knowledgeable and would be able to assist in the implementation.

We did not purchase premium support. The standard support that is offered is excellent, and suits our requirements. We are accountants, and our level of expertise in the payroll field is high.
Paychex always comes through with exceptional support. We refer clients to Paycex, and the sales representatives are available on week-ends and evenings for non-traditional businesses.

The system meets our company's needs as is.
We have not experienced any difficulties with unplanned outages. Notifications are always made for outages, and they do not effect normal business operations.
The performance of Paychex Flex is outstanding. It loads quickly, the reports download quickly, and there are no glitches.

The principle terms of our negotiation were to our satisfaction.
There is no advice needed. The sales representatives, tax department and payroll specialists are always helpful, professional, efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable.

Upgrading Paychex Flex

Yes - The new release which added the Cares Act reports went smoothly. No downtime was noticed. The new reports are comprehensive, useful, and user friendly.
