Paychex Flex - A Solid Value for Small Businesses
Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex
Paychex Flex has saved an immense amount of time. They process or bi-weekly payrolls and handle our tax payments, including the quarterly MBT payments. We have found their system to be very user-friendly and efficient. I couldn't ask for a better time-saver when it comes to payroll. When we signed on with Paychex Flex four years ago, we had been processing 40 paychecks in-house, twice a month. Now, we're processing over hundred, and I can't even imagine if we had to do it all ourselves. Thank goodness our CPA recommended this reasonably priced service. Paychex Flex Rocks!
Pros
- On Time Delivery of Paychecks
- On Time Processing of Tax Payments
- Accurately Reporting and Producing Annual W-2's
Cons
- List or Directory Production
- Access Limits for various System Admin
- Insurance Deduction Options
- Has saved us countless hours in processing payrolls
- Quantifiably, Likely saving over $500 / month
- Peace of mind is hard to put a price on, but I no longer worry about the IRS payments
Positively - We are able to focus more on GROWING our business, rather than managing the minutiae of things related to payroll. Not having to panic over whether or not the IRS received their cut every two weeks is an enormous relief to my wife and me. I can't even fathom how we did it all ourselves before Paychex Flex.
We still use QB Desktop Pro to maintain a Check Register / Overall Balance for the company, but once having tried QB Payroll Online for about 3 months prior to finding Paychex Flex I can tell you that there's just no comparison. QB online is VERY EXPENSIVE and not so user-friendly. I hated every minute of those 6 payrolls we ran through QB online.
