Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

I use Paychex Flex in one of my remote education jobs. It is for our payroll but also houses some logistical things such as communications with higher ups. I use it somewhat infrequently as I do not check paystubs often and find it easier to just wait for formal communications through Slack or email than to go looking for whatever is hiding in Paychex Flex somewhere.

I have not used the reporting
I far prefer Rippling to Paychex Flex, with its easy to navigate interface and user friendly model. I also appreciate the payday emails from Rippling and the paystub breakdown. It is also very easy and simple to request and view PTO in Rippling. I really dread having to use Paychex Flex when necessary.

I think that it is tricky to get the hang of, and unfortunately for how little I need to use it, I’ve forgotten all of the steps for how to find the things i need when it’s time to log in again. I wish it was able to be presented in a way where working it came naturally.
I just don’t think Paychex Flex is well suited for a company similar to my own that consists mostly of young employees who are in their first/one of their first remote positions. It seems better aimed toward those who have experience navigating through their own online workspace and I prefer Rippling.
