I use rippling for managing payroll, benefits, time -off, expenses, HR compliance and performance management.
The product is very easy and intuitive to use. The UI is clean, clear and laid out in an easy to navigate way.
I most recently used it to elect benefits and was very pleased that the whole process took less than 15 minutes, in large part because my information was stored and ready to go.
I didn't have to spend a long time entering tedious details.
I have used many different people management portal in the capacity of employee during my career and can say that this is a great product.
The thoughtful user-centric considerations and features make a real difference for a user such as me.
  • Clean UI - there is no ambiguity about what function each button will perform.
  • Very easy to navigate. It is not difficult to find what is being looked for.
  • Single location for multiple functions. This is great for me as there is one central hub for all professional admin matters. Saving me valuable time that I can better spend on more pressing work matters.
  • The corporate color scheme is somewhat dated feeling.
  • The 2FA a uthentication would be improved by being able to use faceID or fingerprint instead of entering numerical code each login.
  • It would be nice to set up alerts for myself in rippling
HAving used competitor products like the ancient PeopleSoft and some other legacy tools like Workday, Rippling outshines them significantly.
The product feels as though it was developed for users and not just for company HR teams. Because it is easy to use I find that I use it frequently. I am on top of my to-do duties and have more time, space and energy to focus on the actual work of my job.

I use it to see my payroll and benefits, log time off, and see co-worker's profiles. I use Rippling every day to find co-workers' contact info and positions, to see updates about benefits, trainings, and other announcements from HR. I'll also use Rippling to update my payroll banking information, 401k distributions, and my personal profile (how I show up to other coworkers).

The ease of clocking in and out is very simplified. The fact there is an app for employees to log in makes this generation more engaged with managing their time and benefits.

Our organization uses Rippling for our applicant tracking system, payroll, and employee management. As a small non-profit, the majority of our funding is dedicated to programming so we don't have a large budget for administrative and HR related systems. I researched and completed trials of several well known platforms to meet our needs in this area but they were either too expensive or didn't provide the flexibility we needed to customize our implementation. The ability to choose which services we did/didn't need was our primary reason for choosing Rippling. From the demo to signing the contract, our dedicated representative was very responsive and helpful. Not having to deal with a bot during the process was such a huge relief. Rippling has saved our team a tremendous amount of administrative hours and the integrations to other third-party services has been an added bonus.

I use it as an employee. It's pretty intuitive and user-friendly. Put it this way...I don't hate logging in to change personal information. Feels like the software takes care of me by making outstanding decisions easy to find and/or pre-filling content when it can.

I primarily work in Spend Management or use it as an employee. As an employee it has solved nearly every pain point that I used to have with HR. With the Spend bring expenses and corporate spend all to one place with the set up is very nice compared to other stand alone spend systems.

We are using Rippling for HR and for IT. Rippling addresses business problems in the fields of recruiting, payroll, benefits, HR management, app management and device management.

I have been implementing Rippling for app and device management. I integrate apps via SSO and SCIM. Furthermore we are deploying wor computers that are SOC 2 compliant.

We use Rippling for all of our employee and operations management - It is the core of the business. Beginning with employee management, payroll, and benefits is a good start for a small (15 employee) company. As we grow and have larger problems to solve, we see clearly how we would like to expand this bedrock of employee management into recruiting, onboarding, off-boarding, expense management, and document management. However, we appreciate that we do not have to use or pay for those modules yet.

One small point that has set the entire Rippling experience apart from competitors (Gusto) is the simplicity of the UI. Keeping the UI simple & readable when an employee is solving one task at a time or an admin has one urgent task to attend to is difficult for how many features Rippling has. Big tip of the hat to the Rippling team for keeping the UX disciplined and usable rather than flashing or confusing.

  • Expense management could be more automated - Automatically creating filters on approved or unapproved expenses rather than post-hoc review.
Rippling is a powerful solution for team management. Focusing on the basics - employee management, payroll, benefits, - is fantastic. The equity management app with Carta is also helpful and easy.

We still have more to learn about adding more complex modules like document management, device management, Mainstreet tax credit integration, and others. Simpler, more powerful 'so what?' demos and examples of what those integrations get us would help motivate us to add more faster. It is hard to tell which integrations are magic and powerful and which are boring.

Weather you use it to track time off/manage your schedule, get familiar with my teammates and our structure, or use it for benefits. The tool has it all and has been incredible for me. Working on multiple properties it is vital that I charge my labor and that of my team to the appropriate line item. Rippling makes it so easy to clock in and to move from property to property. In addition to that convenience when it's time to recharge my battery I can quickly look up my PTO balances and submit a request for time off.

I use rippling to clock in and out of work and request time off through the app. I also use it to see when we have holidays and how many hours i have worked! I love how easy and straight forward rippling can be to help me and my co-workers get time off through the application.

Rippling user interface makes it super easy to navigate and find what you're looking for, as well as make elections, updates and changes and get the status of your account. I found the platform a joy to use and setup as part of my onboarding and it allowed me to get up and running within the organization in less than an hour.

I use Rippling to request time off, check my benefits and view my paychecks. Rippling is nice in the sense that I can locate and see all resources in one spot, such as my benefits and paycheck are all in one spot. No more having to search for these important documents!

  • I receive notifications pretty instantly when requesting changes or time off
  • There is instructions and notifications to help guide you when you first sign in, which is nice
  • I like that I have to include an authenticator code to gain access, security it important to me!
  • Sometimes I forget the left hand navigation bar is where I need to scroll to find things - without clicking on the extend icon
  • The expand tool in the navigation bar doesn't close if I open a different component in the list
When I needed to request PTO, I was easily able to locate the area in which I needed to be to request time off. That page also included how many hours I had available and also a history of time requested off. It is also nice when you get paid, Rippling sends you a nice email letting you know "You just got paid!" which is nice. I also like the icons Rippling uses for its different components.

I use Rippling to clock in and out daily, to review all my pay subs, my time off, insurance benefits - everything that is related to my job.

  • I like how easy is to see all my benefits, including time off and vacation policy
  • I noticed that when I'm taking my lunch break (30 minutes break) if I use the app on my phone, there is a lag. If I don't refresh the app all the time when I'm in my break it won't show the correct duration of my break. I am not seeing this issue on the web browser version, only the mobile app.
One of the things that I like about this platform is the fact that they show projected vacation days, and it it great because it helps me plan things in advance, it makes it easier.

Rippling allows us to effectively manage the entire onboarding process in a simple and streamlined way. From the minute we bring on a new employee, Rippling goes to work setting up required documents, information and device management. Once they start, we then are able to run a number of reports that feed financial models, forecasting, etc. quickly and user friendly. As an employee, Rippling has all of the modules and portals you would ever need for any HR or pay related information

Rippling is well suited for the onboarding of employees and for the general every day HR tool for said employees. It is very easy and intuitive to use for an average employee trying to find information regarding taxes, payroll, benefits, etc. Is is also suited very well for backend admin users who need to run reports such as payroll or employee rosters. It may not be well suited for huge organizations as I am part of a smaller org and not sure how well it scales

Rippling takes the load off our organization's functions and provides immediate resolution for employee questions and needs. With Rippling there's no need in most cases to ask our operations team for help and there's no confusion around benefits and payroll. In acute cases like adding a beneficiary to a health insurance plan, Rippling has an online solution that does not require human intervention.

  • After enrolling there's a loading screen that it's not clear if you can exit or must watch
1. It has a simple user interface with easy to understand categories
2. It provides detailed comparisons of plans and is accurate about the cost to the employee
3. It's a great system to manage FSA and other expenses especially with its debit card
4. Claims are handled quickly and reimbursed very fast, I had no issues with declined claims. If something is declined there's always a clear explanation

Rippling is primarily used within our organization to facilitate essential employee-Human Resources administration such as benefits management, payroll, and time off requests. Communication and information distribution for these areas is handled through the application. Yearly open enrollment is facilitated within the Rippling workflow, and employees are able to access benefits summary documents and the options are laid out in a clear way to help compare which plans are the best personal fit. Employees can view payroll history and control Direct Deposit, as well as access relevant documents stored such as W2s and Pay stubs. Time off requests are submitted through Rippling and approved through Rippling's workflow.

Had nothing but good experiences as an employee/user for time off requests, Payroll, benefits management, etc. It would be nice to be able to customize the dashboard and menu options, as many of the available listings may not apply to the average employee user.
