Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

As a smaller organization, Paychex Flex met our needs. We have grown to just under 200 employees and need a HRIS that can serve all our needs.

  • Payroll was the biggest benefit that had with Paychex
  • The Performance Management had areas of improvement, which is part of the reason why we looked on the market for an HRIS that offered a full suite of Hire to Retire offerings.
  • The Learning Management System could improve with added trainings that are more industry specific.
Positively - I can't say negatively, because there are reports. There was no opportunity to create reports that met my company needs.
I wish Paychex Flex had monthly trainings to review different product offering or even a library. Relying on coworkers to pause what they are working on to work on got a little tiresome.
Paychex Flex has some room for improvement, I would choose ADP out of the different HRIS's I have used in the past

For a small organization, Paychex offerings work, but we outgrew Paychex Flex.
Paychex Flex has done well for us with payroll. An area of improvement would be the performance reviews. We ended up creating a fallible document that best fit our needs
