Overall Satisfaction with Planful

We switched from excel based reporting to Planful four years ago. It is a huge difference. Freed up so much time our team can spend on more useful tasks. It is very easy to use, has excellent multi-layered security options, great customer service. I only can recommend it to companies all sizes.

  • ability to create reports for 3rd party requirements easily
  • ability to use the tool by multiple departments (Reporting, Planning, Financial management)
Spotlight is the best tool to do that. It can connect with other systems eg. Power Bi, can bring in more dimensions, and plan on the lowest level. Multiple levels of security allow nonfinancial users to add their budgets directly so not the accountant's job to collect and input all.
We are behind on this. We know the possibility but every department has the freedom to find its own tools. I hope in the future we can utilize all segments of the system as it would be time and cost-saving for the whole company, just would need maybe from Planful to help us show them.

Planful can show the data from different angles, dynamic reports allow companies to see their data much quicker than excel and more complicated way. Reporting is user-friendly and can be done by all levels of users easily (after training). When the system is busy more complex reports are not generated only after multiple attempts.
