Planful has great customer service.

We use Planful for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and long-range planning. Additionally, we do a lot of ad hoc what-if analysis leveraging their dynamic planning and Excel-based reporting functionality. We also have KPI dashboarding that we use. Most of our planning is done with loading key metrics and leveraging templates to calculate revenue, expense, and staffing.

We build our financial plan from the bottom up, which allows us to utilize our hierarchy to get extra granular by location, business type, department, and even a specific cost center. That was, we can analyze business performance by looking at things at a high level, a mid-level look, or down to the very granular by program view.

Before Planful, we had two products. One for reporting and one for budgeting and forecasting. By combining these two functions in one product, we have real-time data to use for business planning. In addition, we can utilize data within Planful to build potential business plans without changing our operational planning data.
