Overall Satisfaction with Planview Portfolios
Planview Portfolios is a pivotal solution which is being leveraged by our team. Every single, idea (prospective Project) and project pipeline, timelines, approvals etc, are all managed in the portfolios.
Second, my used feature is the dashboarding and reporting capabilities and adaptability. We are extensively using power bi to showcase trends and we even created a forecast model to identify the next financial year's workload.

Pros
- Summarized view of all projects in one place
- Good approval matrix and workflow to manage approval when multiple Leadership approvals are required
- Good dashboarding and reporting capabilities
Cons
- With access to all data, drag and drop kind of graphs and charts would be ideal
- UI seems a bit dated. Lot of room for improvement
- Sometimes, the website is a bit slow. When you try to do multiple things at a time. Esp. going through administration options, everything seems slow and laggy
- As we are in India, it is expensive affair
- Support charges are exceptionally high, as they is GBP rate cards
Jira, serves a different purpose hence, has a lot of additional features.
