Overall Satisfaction with Pollfish

We use Pollfish to reach out to the potential customers and conduct a image based survey of our products. We normally aim to get feedback from potential customers before the product launch and use the result for the pricing of the product, potential product responses after the launch, and any final adjustments of marketing/product details and strategy

Pros

  • Pricing of the surveys
  • easy to edit even after launch of the survey
  • customisations of questions

Cons

  • changing the order of answer options is difficult. Dragging is not available
  • changing sample size doesn't reflect on the actual sample size
  • after getting the final review result before launch, it's difficult to find actual launching option
  • finalising product price with HQ
  • convincing product details to HQ
  • setting up marketing strategy internally
Being able to customise the questions is very handy, even after launching the survey I was able to edit the questions easily. Also, being able to monitor the live results is something that you cannot experience with traditional survey providers. I didn't have to wait until the survey finishes to generate a report.

1. We were able to get a rough price of the product, which the general public thinks that it's appropriate. Even if we don't actually use the figure, it helps us to understand the initial responses of general public after the launch of the product
2. We wanted to get a open ended answers from the potential customers about why they would not purchase plug in hybrid vehicles, but some of the answers were not usable because people fill out answers for the sake of filling out answers
