We mainly utilize Postman for testing, developing, and implementing REST APIs.
- Super easy setup, ready to go in a few minutes.
- You can save APIs for future and multiple uses.
- Can export and import APIs so you can share with colleagues very easily.
- The UI isn’t super intuitive and takes some time to find more complex features.
- Some more detailed documentation would be nice.
- Been all positive. The version of Postman we use is free and has helped us test our APIs and partner APIs quickly and easily. Helps our time to production be much quicker.
Haven’t really used any other applications similar to Postman. We have used an enterprise type tool for testing some APIs but it was clunky and time-consuming, utilizing postman has been a game changer.
