Overall Satisfaction with PowerDMS

We use Power DMS to store our policies and procedures. We also use it for our accreditation process.

Pros

  • Allows users to electronically sign for the agency policies and procedures.
  • We can easily revise polices and procedures without needed to reprint a manual.
  • Holds all documentation of proofs for our accreditation process.
  • Users can review their policy anywhere.

Cons

  • I would like a way to redact a document inside the standards module.
  • Power DMS has saved us a lot of money going from a paper manual to a paperless manual.
  • It has made the accreditation process much easier.
It is the best way to get information out to a mass of people all at once and to keep up with who has reviewed the material and who needs to be reminded to review the material.
