Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Printanista to monitor consumable supply levels and meter readings on our customers' devices. We receive automatic meter readings so our customers don't have to manually submit them, as well as utilize the automated toner replenishment alerts for our just-in-time shipment program to ensure our customers get toner replacements on time.

The website itself is quite easy to navigate and read

Cons

There seem to have been some issues with multiple supply alerts populating for the same item & device before anything has been suppressed

Return on Investment

We utilize the ability to remove the burden from customers' IT departments as a main advantage of using Printanista which has a great benefit for companies dealing with a lot of printer issues that their internal IT department has to take care of

Remote Print Management

I do not work with our professional services department, who would be the ones in charge of remotely helping customers with these kinds of issues.

Integration with e-automate

Printanista recently integrated with e-automate in our company and it has been quite helpful to be able to see supply levels & history in one place rather than going back and forth between the program and Printanista. It increases workflow and saves time when generating sales orders for recommended auto shipments

We had FMAudit before Printanista which seemed to be essentially the same

Likelihood to Recommend

Printanista is a great tool for customers who want to have their print fleet managed as automatically as possible. It works well for customers with larger fleets or multiple locations as we can visualize the entire fleet at one time. Some customers have devices that do not seem to report well on Printanista (ex: HP OfficeJet devices, Kyocera, other brands).
