Overall Satisfaction with Progress Sitefinity

We use Sitefinity for both our external website as well as for current students and faculty/staff. Our content is very organized and easy to maintain.

Pros

  • Easy to customize
  • Easy to edit content
  • Dynamic modules

Cons

  • Inconsistencies between modules
  • Support can be slow to resolve issues
  • Events and eCommerce could use some work
  • We spend a lot less time managing the CMS and can focus on content.
For the money it has the features we need.
[Progress Sitefinity] works very well as a CMS where content owners are updating their own content.
