Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Replicate

[We] used [Qlik Replicate] for replication of select tables from Oracle to SQL, and Oracle to Snowflake.
The data is used company wide from their endpoints in order to run reporting and dashboards.
  • Getting data from Oracle to SQL.
  • Quick and easy to set up.
  • Maintaining tasks is quite simple.
  • Duplicating tasks for different environment setups is not easy to do.
  • Task performance tuning requires help.
  • Knowing if the application host system is doing well is hard to figure out.
  • Inability to monitor Replicate without add-ons is impossible.
  • I'm not "in the know" for ROI.
We're still evaluating, but so far Replicate is easier to set up than HVR. I'm not involved with the Fivetran evaluation.
Easy to set up and monitor within the application. Also easy to maintain the tasks, adding and removing tables.
Depending on the use case, I'd definitely suggest using Qlik Replicate, especially for data transfer. I would not suggest it for doing ETL/ELT systems, unless using other add-ons, such as Compose, from Qlik.
