Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Replicate

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Qlik Replicate as our sole on-prem database to database data pipelining tool within our IT department. It has lowered the time to delivery for us to load data into various data marts and into our Snowflake data warehouse.

Cons

Needs to be able to connect to RESTful services.
Needs to be able to connect to SOAP based services.
Licensing model could be simplified.

Return on Investment

Saved time on data ingestion into Snowflake.

Alternatives Considered

Azure Data Factory and Matillion

Both of these work with API's and services, Qlik Replicate does not.

Usability

The UI/UX are really well done.

Other Software Used

Snowflake, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, ASP.NET, Azure SQL Database, Microsoft SQL Server

Likelihood to Recommend

Again, this product could be a one solution fits all if it had the ability to connect to and pull data from APIs and RESTful or SOAP services. We have to use other tools for that purpose, whereas we'd prefer to just one one tool.
