Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop for Mac

We use Quickbooks Desktop for Mac on an as-needed basis in our company. We primarily use QBO, but a couple of clients did not want to change to a cloud-based system. QB Desktop allows us to keep these clients on and will enable them to be comfortable with their bookkeeping software.

Pros

  • Payroll Tax Payment and Filings.
  • Inventory Tracking.
  • Account Reconciliation.

Cons

  • Accessibility
  • Bank Feed Connection.
  • It has allowed us to offer multiple bookkeeping softwares for clients that do not want to change from what they have been using.
  • Payroll filing has given us ease of mind because we can physically make the filings rather than waiting on payroll software to make them for us.
Quickbooks desktop has all the functionalities that a firm like ours needs. I gave it a 4 rating mainly due to the user-friendliness, or lack thereof.
Functionality: they are very similar. I do like how QBO is more user-friendly and has a sleeker design.
