Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
We use it as our accounting software at one of our operating subsidiary locations. It helps us to track our inventory, for which we use last in first out (LIFO) and can be cumbersome to track.
- Support - it is so nice to be able to reach out to certified advisers of the program because it is so widely used and recognized across all business platforms.
- Additional training/education - I really like the fact that I am able to search online to find information and support about certain reports or features that I otherwise would not have known.
- User friendly - the system is very intuitive and folks are able to pick it up relatively quickly.
- There are limited capabilities when it comes to organizational growth and needs.
- Tracking specific features of inventory within the system can be complicated.
- Troubleshooting seems to be 'work-around' solutions rather than actual solutions to the software.
- Increased efficiency due to a change in our controller staff - she was easily able to pick up QuickBooks even though she never had any prior experience.
- Good solution for small businesses, but limitations to growth and expansion beyond basic capabilities.
- Very affordable platform for our business needs with strong resources and training/education opportunities.
Our other subsidiaries use more advanced or industry-specific accounting programs (Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) but they are larger organizations with more diverse needs. These platforms would be too advanced for the organization that currently uses QuickBooks and so QuickBooks is a good fit.
