Overall Satisfaction with Rally Software

We use Broadcom Rally for test management and defect management purposes.

Pros

  • In epic, feature, user story creation
  • In creating bug
  • In linking bug to user story or epic

Cons

  • Ui can be more intuitive and colorful
  • Lacks animation and tool integration
  • Should be more configurable
  • Rally is able to reduce test management drastically by 40%
  • Defect management including bug creation. Assignment to relevant team and resolution within sla has improved prod deployment efficiency by about 25%
As i mentioned team need to work on ui front end it is not very elegant and needs to add more intuitive features which customers can use straight out of the box with minimal customisation.

Rally is good as it has both test management, defect management build into a single tool along with managing user stories, epics, features and backlog items efficiently
