Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

All our machines and servers are established as RHEL. It is being extensively used by our company as an alternative to CENTOS (which is basically an unsupported version of the same) mainly because of the stability that it provides and the amazing customer service that Red Hat has to offer its customers.
  • Stability
  • Cleaner Software updates
  • Robust
  • The license is expensive
  • 24/7 uptime
  • No restarts between updates
CENTOS is the unsupported version of RHEL. There is Ubuntu, which in the current years has become very stable, but the thing is it's been funded by tech giants (I am not going to name them here) and that is the reason they tend to collect a lot of information from the linux system, which they have been using for a lot of their own research purposes.
SLES : SUSE enterprise system is a good alternative, but it's a European brand and many of its tools sometimes just do not pair well compared to Ubuntu and CENTOS.
Just perfect. Because in my previous company whenever I had an issue with the system I just used to open a ticket with Red Hat and they used to just get back with the proper resources. Once during an emergency I was able to get the whole system up with the help of a Red Hat expert.

Yes

Would you buy Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) again?

Yes

The amazing thing about Red Hat Enterprise Linux, as I keep on telling everyone I meet, is the stability it provides. I haven't restarted my Red Hat server in the last 18 months, and I am not planning to do so anytime soon, unless met with a power outage.
If you are a company running a service 24/7, I haven't seen any linux distro more stable than Red Hat.
