Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat OpenShift
We used it to validate the support for backup and recovery of Red Hat OpenShift clusters as a part of our feature.
Pros
- Security features like SCC
- The UI is easy to navigate the resources
Cons
- Having to switch to OC for some features vs using kubectl for other K8s clusters is a bit annoying
- It helped us to quickly validate open shift distribution and test at scale
We were able to easily use ROSA and ARO for our testing by following simple steps and it was very quick to deploy
It's a fairly different experience compared to the other environments due to the additional security
