Overall Satisfaction with Renaissance Accelerated Reader

I facilitate the program. Students have started chasing points instead of reading for pleasure. They skim the book to get the answers.
  • Frequently add new tests.
  • Allow suggestions of books.
  • Good visual for goals for students.
  • New report settings are hard to understand.
  • Allow teacher to set a timer per question.
  • It is slower now when pulling up latest quizzes.
  • Shows how the students are reading at certain levels.
  • Shows if the students are really reading the books.
  • It shows if students are really reading.
  • Students' averages drop at the end of each quarter because they are just taking tests hoping to pick the correct answer without reading so they can get points.
  • Teachers get tired of pushing another program.
