Overall Satisfaction with Renaissance Accelerated Reader
I facilitate the program. Students have started chasing points instead of reading for pleasure. They skim the book to get the answers.
- Frequently add new tests.
- Allow suggestions of books.
- Good visual for goals for students.
- New report settings are hard to understand.
- Allow teacher to set a timer per question.
- It is slower now when pulling up latest quizzes.
- Shows how the students are reading at certain levels.
- Shows if the students are really reading the books.
- It shows if students are really reading.
- Students' averages drop at the end of each quarter because they are just taking tests hoping to pick the correct answer without reading so they can get points.
- Teachers get tired of pushing another program.
