Overall Satisfaction with Renaissance Star Assessments

We use Renaissance Star Assessments to get baseline data and track progress among our students. We also use the data to direct our remediation and gap efforts for students with learning gaps and deficiencies. We test twice a year once in the fall and again in the spring for most students. Some students are tested more often to ensure that their testing data is accurate.

  • It has helped us communicate with parents of students who struggle about specific learning gaps or needs.
It is very user friendly and intuitive. I have had minimal training on the system and was able to access many of the features. I was able to easily create student accounts and set up testing for our students. I was able to find appropriate reports that provide the right data for our team and our parents.

Renaissance Star Assessments are great for getting baseline data for students with a minimal reading level. It also, provides read aloud accommodation for students who struggle with reading. It does not have a good solution for students who simple want to skip through the test without reading the prompts or working through the problems.
