Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting

We are a firm of accountants/auditors and we use Sage software internally for our own bookkeeping and payroll processing as well as recommending it to our clients for the same purpose. In a world driven by data, Sage provide fit for purpose software that we have been using now for 20 plus years.

As time moves on Sage continually strive to keep the software relevant to the modern world with cloud connectivity etc, and we value their investment in that side of their business with the strides they are making to keep on top of AI advancements.

Pros

  • Keep their software uptodate.
  • Easy to use and navigate.
  • Sensible pricing.

Cons

  • Matching within bank feeds still needs improving
  • Automated reports would be beneficial
  • Easy to use means time bookkeeping is kept to a minimum
  • Multiple users allows us to allocate work to different individuals
Overall very usable.

For us it does everything we need it to but there is always room for improvement. Bank feeds were problematic but have improved, but the matching within the feeds is still requiring improvement.
