Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting

We use Sage Accounting everyday, for our own bookkeeping for our accountancy firm, and for our clients. The software allows us to see real time information about how our companies are doing, and easily keep track of debtors and creditors.

Pros

  • Bank feed - very useful and great time saver
  • User friendly - easy to find reports and help options
  • Many add-ins - if you need the software to do more, there's probably an add-in that will work!

Cons

  • There's some small features we'd like to see added to reports, such as a VAT split on the debtors/creditors, but we've been told these are under development
  • Comparable reports allow us to view year on year data, which makes it easier for us to view and maintain current year targets
  • Definite time saving in bookkeeping, which gives more time available for advisory work
The software is very intuitive, and has several layout options depending on your experience. The welcome pages are helpful, and there are many help articles which we find useful for clients.
The support team are also brilliant, so if you can't find the answer anywhere else, the team are always there to help.
Sage Accounting is easy to use, the website is easy to navigate and looks cleaner. The bank feed is much simpler, and the matching systems seem better.

We use Sage Accounting for many different sized companies, and utilise the differences between the levels from Start up to Accounting Plus. This allows us to find the best fit for the client, so that they can get the benefits without paying more than they need.

Using Sage Accounting

8 - Book keeping and accounts production. Also used for CIS submissions.
4 - As many of the staff use Sage Accounting, they are able to support other staff members, and clients.
