Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting

We use Sage Accounting to streamline and modernize our clients' bookkeeping and accounting processes. Sage ensures that clients receive helpful information and can make informed business decisions. Sage allows us to save countless hours and use this time on more valuable tasks, such as value-added consultancy and advisory services.

Pros

  • Bookkeeping
  • Bank Reconciliation.
  • Management Accounting.
  • Debtors & Creditors.

Cons

  • Bank Feed is sometimes slow and clunky.
  • Saves staff time and frustration.
It is user-friendly, and clients seem to be able to navigate around the system as easily as those who are used to working on accounting software within the practice.
Sage is better value for money than its competitors and integrates better with HMRC and Companies House in relation to year-end submissions.

Sage Accounting works really well for small to medium businesses that trade in service-based industries. However, we have found it less efficient for businesses that sell physical products and have large product lines. We have also found it less appropriate for Amazon-based sellers where there are high-volume transactions.
