Sage Accounting Start
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting
I've been a sole trader agent for European companies for the past 24 years, specializing in sales, marketing, and logistics as a VAT reg Agent. I'm always looking to improve my efficiency and learn new ways to crunch numbers, and Sage, for me, tells my financial story. copilot is not just a great addition for no accountant.
Pros
- bank connection
- auto reconciliations
- helps keep an eye on the financial ball
- sorts the vat
- available on different platforms
- can scan receipts for money out while travelling
Cons
- Summary View would like to show the current financial year
- Product access could be more for Smaller users..levels could be set, so to a limit of 250 records, I would like a different product but can not justify it ...
- it a good tool
I got lost in QB the reconciliations the story of the business went wrong and it was difficult to trace the error so move back to Sage cloud

I used to have sage accounting and now I have sage online and there was a mix-up with the accounts so they were fantastic at sorting it at

- The only issue I have really is when the bank names a transaction and you've put the transaction in manually or via the phone. It then has a slightly different name and there is sometimes a mismatch or duplication
Yes - I love the connection to the mobile. It helps a lot
