Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting

Sage Accounting is the primary software used for the input, organization, and analysis for client financials. Using Sage Accounting as the medium for their bookkeeping allows us to have a fully compiled and reasonable foundation for personal and corporate tax returns. Features such as the bank reconciliation or payroll further are excellent tools Sage provides to mitigate potential errors.

Sage is in my opinion the best accounting software when it comes to navigation and UI. It has two different UIs depending on your preference, both of which seem well designed depending on your preferences. I've never had a point using Sage where I was unable to find at least the general area of what I was looking for. Often times any report or analysis I wanted to generate was available.
While Sage Accounting (at least the version I am familiar with), lacks more involvement with the owner (features like Xero's hubdoc encourage owner use of accounting software) I generally prefer the layout, design and overall product that is Sage Accounting. I find that the features there are superior and accounting is simple and straightforward. Mistakes are noticeable instantly.

In my opinion, essential tools for bookkeepers or business owners responsible for their own books. It is the most accepted medium at our firm for bookkeeping. If you are comfortable with the fee and do not necessarily need a cloud based software (which Sage has a product for as well), Sage is the best option. However, Sage wouldn't be my first recommendation if the prior conditions were required.
