Experience with Intacct so far - still learning!
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used primarily by our finance department, and also by department directors for approval of expenses. We are a multi-entity environment and enjoy how easy this system is to accommodate that. We used to have to log in separately to each of our organizations' software systems and post manual adjusting entries between them. Now it's relatively automatic.
Pros
- Cloud access is very easy and we hear very few complaints from our users about log on issues
- Controls are customizable
- Workflows are customizable
Cons
- AR Statements are not customizable without purchase of an additional module
- Custom reports are UGLY. I can barely share them they're so unattractive. There is no option to format them other than downloading to Excel
- Our department has had one maternity leave and several family emergencies which required the employee to travel in the past couple of years. We've been able to keep up with our workflows due to the flexibility of the system and the cloud access
We wanted a cloud based system that allowed for one log in for all of our entities, while maintaining separate organization records.
