Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use sage as our accounting and project management software. It helps to keep track of our projects separately where in the past they were more spread out. The ability to switch between multiple entities smoothly is very important to us and sage allows us to do that. It also allows us to make inter-entity transactions easily where in the past we would have to book separate entries in multiple entities.

We are still very new to sage, it is hard to tell what the ROI impact will be

Sage Intacct Automation

We are still very new to sage, but I can see where the automation will play a role as we develop. Recurring JE's will allow us to easily book payroll entries we make since we use a third party for payroll. Connecting bank accounts makes cash reconciliations a very simple and easy process.

Sage Intacct Configuration

Alliance helped us configure Sage. Without them it would have been a daunting process, but with their help it has been quite easy to understand and make tweaks on our own. We use alliance for everything so im not sure we have even heard from anyone directly from sage.

Likelihood to Recommend

Sage is well suited for accounts payable and basically all aspects of general accounting. The cash management is harsh in the fact that if a bill was entered incorrectly and a check was printed there is no way to void the check and change the amount of the bill. The bill must be reversed, then a new bill created, but the problem is the bill cannot have the same number as the original bill even though in reality it is the same bill, a payment was simply misprinted.
