Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

It is our primary ERP and accounting system used for budgeting, reporting, purchasing, payables, general ledger, and reimbursements. It is central to our financial processes and is used by all company purchasers, managers, directors, and the entire finance/accounting team.

Pros

  • Dimensions
  • Statement of Activity Reports
  • Ease of General Ledger Journal Entry recording

Cons

  • In our experience, Banking Cloud sync for Bank Reconciliation is terrible and buggy
  • In my opinion, implementation partners are expensive, slow, inefficient, and not knowledgeable
  • In my opinion, editing of transactions is very painful and complicated
  • It helps us significantly simplify the amount of accounts we use since we have dimensions to filter by
  • It helps us eliminate paperwork for purchasing and reporting

I think it is great if you are an extremely large company that can shell out the money for partners to basically customize the entire product for your use case. In my opinion, it is not great if you are medium sized and have some unique attributes to your workflow processes.
