Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Sales Cloud

We track sales leads and prospects as they are coming to our organization. Track them through the sales process, all the way from inquiring to closed one. It makes it easier for us to track where they are in the stage and track requests to this, the solutions engineering team. So every time somebody wants a demo or wants something to do with the prospects and we can see how many times we've demoed or what we've done for the prospect and the RFP and all of the documents. It all gets tracked on the opportunity and we can see and now we can compare where they're coming from and how long it takes that sales cycle, whether it's a three month or 18 month sales process.

Pros

  • Tracking the path of where a prospect is in the sales process. So whether they're just inquiring versus if they're close to signing.
  • Tracking all the email communication so we can see what's happening with the opportunity and all the other related individuals to that organization.

Cons

  • It might not be the product, but sometimes its security gets a little bit difficult, like being able to have any of the employees be able to generate an email using the chat or the intelligence, the agent, and being able to get those generated.
  • It has a positive as we can track all of our opportunities and where we are and keep track of that sales funnel.
Because it's easy to use with little or no training.

It's great for tracking those prospects and opportunities and where they are and what you're doing with them. Probably a little less helpful in tracking the vendors or partners that you're working with.
