Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

Reporting Visualization for core Finance reports. In addition we use SAC Planning for basic financial cost center planning.

Pros

  • Nice Dashboards
  • Self Service creation of reports
  • Good way to simplify access to data for F executives

Cons

  • Performance is still an issue
  • Query capabilities are limited
  • Adhoc analysis
  • We could replace >1000 old fashioned BEX reports/queries by a handful of powerful dashboards + self-service reporting in SAC. This is clearly a efficiency gain (maintenance, training efforts,…)
Performance is still an issue and the query capabilities still need to be improved. Besides that it is a really powerful solution already.
