Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We are using SAP Analytics Cloud for Cash forecasting application which we use an automated daily process for the purpose of improving efficiency and accuracy in the daily cash forecast process by eliminating manual effort to enter these values daily. from multiple resources like Microsoft SharePoint using SAP open connect connectors, S/4 HANA on-premises using SAP Cloud Connector and data from Azure SQL database using SAP Cloud connector & SAP Analytics Cloud Agent.

Pros

  • Integrate with other 3rd party databases

Cons

  • Integration with transport tool
  • Separate admin license
  • Notification in case of load failures
  • We were able to implement what we planned
  • Separate license for each use case
  • Connecting to non SAP applications are not user friendly
We were satisfied with the results, as the purpose of improving efficiency and accuracy in the daily cash forecast process by eliminating manual effort to enter these values daily was achieved.
We only looked at SAP Analytics Cloud product as we are SAP shop and it's easy integration with on-premises SAP systems.

We use for cash forecasting, for the purpose of improving efficiency and accuracy in the daily cash forecast process by eliminating manual effort to enter these values daily. And sometimes data loads fail, which can see only when we login, we are searching a way to notify users when any import job fails.
