Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We use primarily it for Analytics use cases across our 400+ user base across the global in three regions. SAP Analytics Cloud has been very helpful to streamline a lot of decentralized reporting onto one cloud based platform ensuring data integrity reported consistently across all LOBs. We plan to add more of the AI features, such as just ask and planning capabilities, including integration with SAP Datasphere going forward.

Pros

  • Easy of access - browser and mobile
  • Strong Integration with SAP solutions
  • Integration with MS Office products

Cons

  • Improving performance of data acquisition from live models into Stories
  • Better capabilities for scheduling of data imports besides just basic time driven with integrations with BW/4 process chains or event driven triggers to start data imports
  • Possibility of live integration with SAP ECC Systems in some manner identical to CDS views from S/4
  • Pushing info notifications alerts to users based on live events from backend event possibly being monitored by AI agents
  • Savings on information delivery in a consistent manner
  • Not a very pleasant experience in terms of performance of live models
SAP Analytics Cloud has come a long way and matured significantly over the years and looks more promising with its upcoming AI and BDC integration capabilities.
We selected SAP Analytics Cloud for its streamlined integration with the SAP ecosystem.

Ease of dashboarding with data integration from SAP solutions, as well as many Non SAP platforms. The data analyzer tool is very user-friendly. Planning capabilities need to be improved upon as compared to Classic or Embedded BPC within BW/4.
