Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

Need both dashboards and operational reports to be automatically scheduled, burst and published in PDF, PNG and Excel formats to a variety of different destinations including SharePoint, Encrypted and compressed email, Network share drives, Box with automated email notifications with embedded hyperlinks to take you to dashboard/report.

  • Drag and drop UI

Cons

  • Bursting and Publishing
  • Handling paginated reporting
  • Export to Excel
  • Executive dashboard for visualizing monthly results
Relatively easy to use UI and comparable to tools like PowerBI and Tableau
Not really equivalent.
Use BusinessObjects for operational reporting and ad-hoc querying whereas SAC is more for cloud based data discovery and analytics.
BusinessObjects runs both on-premise and in the cloud whereas SAC is a cloud only based application
