Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

I use SAP BusinessObjects within SAP Analytics Cloud, so this review will be related to SAP BusinessObjects. I use it for data analytics to determine financial benefits from operations and call centers.

Pros

  • The UI is fantastic and always improving.
  • The query times are very fast even for larger data sets.

Cons

  • BOBJ could be improved by allowing more customization on the end user part of things.
  • Id like to see the ability to do customer queries within a report.
  • It has given more clarity into our data
  • It has increased productivity through better data efficiencies
It can be a bit difficult to learn but once you get past that curve its an extremely useful tool. A few issues with SAP BusinessObjects is why I gave it a 7. For instance, scheduled reports can be confusing or have slower load times while queries are fast, I would like to see the speed of queries to follow with the speed of scheduled reports.

SAP BusinessObjects is applicable in the data world but when it comes to front end employees it might be too advanced and wouldn't be applicable.
