Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Procurement

We are using the SAP Ariba Procurement network to connect suppliers all over the world. The use of SAP Ariba Procurement for procurement purposes improved the efficiency of our procurement process. As a pharmaceutical company, we require many types of raw materials, instruments, equipment and consumables for manufacturing our medicinal products. SAP Ariba Procurement helped us to smoothen the procurement process and also brought transparency.
  • It allowed us to connect to millions of suppliers.
  • It brought transparency in procurement of goods.
  • It helps to manage and track order and payment status.
  • Navigation is not easy.
  • Getting live customer support is troublesome.
  • Sometimes errors occur resulting in duplication of PO.
  • Purchase order management

  • Resending of PO stuck during the cancellation or ordering.
  • Positive point is it brought transparency in the procurment process.
  • It saved costs as we can invite many vendors for the same material for qualification and selection based on the lowest bid provider.
  • The negative point is it tedious to navigate and consumes time to train newbee on software.
SAP Ariba Procurement digitalize the overall procurement process. It removed manual paperwork required to put purchase orders and payments. It also digitalized contract agreement signing with vendors.

The use of other SAP solutions customized for pharmaceutical companies is in place in our organization. We are using many SAP products like SAP HANA, SAP Concur and SAP Successfactor. Therefore, the use of SAP Ariba Procurement integrated with other SAP products removes any kind of non-compatibility within the system.

SAP Ariba Procurement in conjugation with SAP S/4 HANA improved efficiency and output. SAP Ariba Procurement connects several vendors which helps to get competitive bidding for material to be procured. Vendor selection, purchase orders, and payments are online.
