  • SAP Build Process Automation

Overall Satisfaction with SAP Build

Process Automation is used for uploading spreadsheets and integrating data into s4/hana + for automating repetitive tasks done in s4 (as nightly background job). Build apps & AI will be used for designing prototypes in the beginning of the project phase.

Pros

  • Custom extensibility for SAP Build Apps
  • Templates should be highlighted more
  • Less development days required

Mass upload of JIT Control Cycles using Excel file upload Functionalities that need to run daily using a program/fiori app, which can not be easily converted to background jobs, are tackled using unattended jobs,

Well suited:
- For creating prototypes
- As starting point for new apps (especially for people who are not familiar with CAP), also to ensure best practices are used

Less appropriate:
- when a lot of extensions are expected in the future (uncertainty whether it will be able to tackle the requirements)
