Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use SAP Business Technology Platform as an interface for all our Procurement needs, including master data maintenance to PR to PO, payables, etc. I currently work for data maintenance, and SAP Business Technology Platform plays a great role in our day-to-day activities of maintaining vendor, customer, and material master data. It's pretty amazing to see the kind of possibilities we have in terms of how the data is maintained and how these reports are generated to make various business decisions.

Access- Roles defined in SAP Business Technology Platform to generate access must be widened
Reporting- Although the Reporting part of SAP Business Technology Platform is definitely a pro, I believe there's room for improvement on how the data could be filtered and printed
Ticketing- It would be great if SAP Business Technology Platform has a ticketing tool of its own

Usability

I don't see a lot of challenge but SAP Business Technology Platform could improve on its design, display, and make it less complex. It is understandable that the kind of reasons SAP Business Technology Platform is used, it could help having specific controls, but some controls are unnecessary. It has to be more and more user-friendly, and reduce the dependency on other ticketing tools or systems for the Overall p2p process.

As highlighted earlier, SAP Business Technology Platform is great for the storage and maintenance of data. It helps in making decisions through this data and pretty much solves and acts as one platform for most of the Procurement needs and also payable needs. It could, however, be a little simpler. I believe if a user is not particularly extensively trained in this, it would be impossible for a layman to understand the navigation. There could be better tutorials, simplification of the application as a whole, and also room for adding ticketing tools that help in submitting requests within SAP Business Technology Platform.
