Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform

We have SAP Business Technology Platform CF and bunch of subscription services likewise MBC/C4CP. We have exited out of Neo lately.

Pros

  • The UI/UX
  • The seamless integration with S/4 STE
  • The easy of help

Cons

  • the wizards are glitchy sometimes
  • some product development issues take long to resolve
  • change in direction of SAP sometimes makes us wonder if we are on right track
  • Helped improved our ROI with SAP BPA
  • Tight integration with other SAP products helps seamless delivery
  • side by side extensibility is helping us move towards our goal of clean core
We recently automated one of our intercompany tax solutions, it saved more than > 24 hours of man hours per month.
I would rate this mix , sometimes we have seen excellent support but for newer products getting the right SAP support is challenge. We are SAP Max customers, so they do provide us the additional traction as and when needed. Overall I would mark it at 6.

  • All critical subscriptions like MBC/C4C
  • reduce technical debt and doing more side by side extensions
  • Joule for developers is what we are currently looking for
  • BDC
this is the core for our business processes.
