Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Warehouse

SAP Business Warehouse acts as a Data Warehousing and modelling tool for data analytics. It extracts data from different ERP systems and consolidates them for global reporting. The SAP Business Warehouse system connected with AFO and SAC offers analytical reporting for the use cases. The integrated planning and BPC cubes present in SAP Business Warehouse offers planning capabilities as well for FI usecases

  • The planning feature helped the business to anticipate the budgeting needs
  • Additional costs were need due to lack of cloud integration
The overall usability is robust. The tool offers lot of native feature to achieve all the data warehousing functions. Starting from data modelling to reporting and authorisation, the tool provided native features for almost all the areas of analytics. Integration of hybrid modelling with hana studio opened the usage of sql functions with the sap analytics
Sap business warehouse is a powerful tool for data modelling and warehousing. Most of the features provided in SAP Business Warehouse as native has to be modelled in other tools. Example auth relevant function in SAP Business Warehouse has to be modelled by writing grant function in Microsoft Fabric, hierarchies to be modelled as views.. etc. The sap source system integration is unparalleled in SAP Business Warehouse
