Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite
We had a business requirement where we wanted a robust platform to connect SAP and non-SAP applications that will make our applications run faster. As an avid SAP user, I got to know that SAP Integration Suite can solve this problem, so we purchased SAP Integration Suite. Its robust built-in memory and seamless integration with other third-party tools made our applications more stable and run more quickly. As far as the departments, currently we use SAP Integration Suite within our India and Germany teams, and we're discussing scaling up throughout the organization.
- Command line works super quick.
- Implementation was super quick, probably less than a month. It was up and working within a month. Along with implementation, the UI is super easy to work with. Working with Cloud Foundry to develop and save applications was really easy. SAP stands out compared to its competitors when it comes to UI.
- SAP Integration Suite is driven by very solid HANA platform. It is robust and powerful.
- Though the platform is stable, you get issues related to disconnections at times. It is infrequent, though.
- Version control feature could be better.
- I would say it had positive impacts more than negative: The biggest ROI is that our application runs much more quickly than earlier and doesn't crash much.
- Developers started working more on the platform which led them to develop better scalable/stable applications.
Definitely benefited. Most of our applications were standalone, which have zero to very minimal integrations with each other. With SAP Integration Suite and with its built-in integrations, applications run much more quickly.
Working in a manufacturing industry, when we got the access to the machine data (the data which machines generate through sensors), we had no clue how to handle that immense data or how to find a pattern and then find a solution out of it. With a little help from experts and with the analytics and ML capabilities, we were able to understand the machine data much more deeply. This information helps us to understand the machine health and take proactive measures, which in turn helps us save thousands of dollars.
