Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SAP Data Intelligence for analysis of marketing campaigns and for certification purposes. The certification purposes are internal only, but marketing campaign data can be modeled quite effectively leveraging SAP Data Intelligence.

The AWS services require more manual integration and custom building of services. This is where SAP Data Intelligence excells.

HANA data connectors work well, others were varied and we had no issue using them without going into specifics which ones we leverage.

Likelihood to Recommend

The best user experience when setting up SAP Data Intelligence is when leveraging the cloud experience. This makes setup easy, integration is doable depending on compliance and governance within the organization. Unfortunately this is less suitable for on premises installations, where setup into the environment can be quite time consuming.
