Overall Satisfaction with SAP Datasphere
we use Datasphere to produce sales reporting among multiple instances of SAP to have one source of truth
Pros
- sales reporting combining SAP tables
- SAP and non-SAP environment integration
- integration among multiple SAP instances
Cons
- connection to 3rd party can be easier (tableau instead of SAP)
- ecc and S/4HANA integration at the same time should be easier
- data lake cost is extra
- it is a subscription cost
- it would be better if it were capex instead of capex
we are still progressing
we have the ability to combine multiple SAP instances and use tableau at the same time
single source of truth is the best benefit
it is an SAP product
