Overall Satisfaction with SAP Datasphere
Productive usage to distribute all relevant SAP BI Data to our customer. For e.g. Qlik Sense and Google BigQuery.
Actual problem, is the integeration in nonSAP tools. The consumtption for openSQL Connection is not that smart as for SAP Analytics Cloud. We want an bi-directional functionality for all interfaces. Neither its an SAP Product or not.

Pros
- development speed
- performance
- connection to BW
Cons
- sql modelling
- integration in non SAP tools
- differentiation between BW and DS
- saving a lot of time, with one single source of truth
- saving time in fast development
- BW and Datasphere maintanance make it harder to onboard new employees
- fast data deployment
- saving money in therms of a cloud product
we are able to provide data by one single source of truth. openSQL Connector make it easy to connect to the data. Also space concept and the shareability make work easier. Connecting directly to SAP ERP and SAP CRM System, opens new ways for operational analytics. Liveconnection to BW avoid data redundancies
Today we haven't connected 3rd party data to our Datasphere
our business and keyuser can directly develop in the business spaces, which saves time and brings direct positive effects
till yet, we haven't used any of this features. They are not as good as e.g. GCP features
some features are better, other for e.g. big data analysis or ai cases not
