Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA
Our BW7.4 is on the SAP HANA database and it is initially used to support highly data-intensive BPC applications and now all the applications on our BW7.4 are also using SAP HANA database.
- BPC application.
- BI reports that handle huge amounts of data.
- BI reports that require data to be refreshed at frequent intervals.
- We are using HANA views to replace the existing BI reports and it is a learning process for our developers. But it is giving good results as we move along.
- We've been using it for 2 to 3 years. We use it mostly by migrating existing BI queries. It's currently a little too early to provide this ROI information. We're still learning and growing our implementation.
The evaluation was done and SAP HANA scored many positive things for our organization's usage.
