Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite
This is our middleware for both SAP and non-SAP products which includes things in cloud and on prem. This product was chosen considering the cloud offering from SAP. This is definitely an advanced product comparing its predecessors like SAP PI, PO etc. This product is in top line and compares to other similar products like Dell Boomi and Mulesoft.

- data storage in persistent area for future uses
- doesn't extend very well to non-SAP to non-SAP scenarios
- some of the concepts very specific to SAP
- overall development cycle is pretty quick once the framework setup in place
- integrates very well with SAP concepts (e.g. transports etc. )
- Prebuilt connectors which can be tweaked easily
- key vault to store licenses and certificates
We're using it heavily to build new interfaces using ultra modern technology. Our preference is now API v/s the traditional file based approach. This product handles both SAP S4 and ECC without issues. Pricing varies for each customer but I think its still pretty reasonable.
We're not into that phase yet but a few things we have seen where the product proposes the best integration technique based on the scenarios. This comes out of the Machine learning feature which is in built.
For a SAP shop, it makes much more sense to go with SAP's offering. You get a very good support and pre built integrations scenarios help improve the turn around time.
