Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite

We use SAP Integration Suite to support our API management. We have implemented one integration with an external party to support our pull-to-production process in SAP. SAP Integration Suite allows the external party to call an internal API on our ECC system.

Pros

  • connect to ECC system
  • expose HTTP api
  • build an API product

Cons

  • It is hard to determine how to provide a Developer Hub package for various groups. For example: how do I create a group for external parties and another group for internal developers. Each with access to different APIs in Developer Hub. Where one cannot even see the possibility to use the other.
  • Looking forward to future implementations here. Working with SI to help move existing APIs to SAP Integration Suite. More to come.
We have benefited in that we have one integration already deployed. We have another two that are currently in testing.
