Overall Satisfaction with SAP Master Data Governance

We have implemented SAP Master Data Governance as part of our Finance Transformation program with two main goals: improving master data maintenance and governance processes and creating a centralized hub/source for our downstream systems consuming Finance data elements.

We have a contract with SAP and are quite responsive. Any time we have a technical issue we open case with SAP and it usually takes from 5 to 15 days for it to be closed depending on the complexity. The knowledge base is also quite comprehensive.
It has a learning curve associated with it, but once mastered, it's quite a powerful tool.

We use SAP Master Data Governance directly on top of our legacy and upgraded Finance systems, and it provides us with the tools to translate both from old to new and new to old, as we will be in a hybrid landscape for some years.
